How do I use Remote Desktop to connect to our anySiteSolutions Hosted Server?
Microsoft Windows
- Click on the Start Menu and search for Remote Desktop Connection
- In the Computer text field, enter the server name provided by your technician.
- Select Show Options
- In the User name field, enter the username provided by your technician.
- Check the checkbox for: Allow me to save credentials
- Click the Connect button.
- When prompted, enter your password, and check the checkbox to save password if desired.

Mac OS X
- Open the Apple App Store and search for Microsoft Remote Desktop, and install the app.
- Open the Microsoft Remote Desktop app.
- Select Add PC from the Connections menu (or click the + button in the toolbar)
- In the PC Name text field, enter the name provided by your technician.
- Click the Save button.
- Double-click the new connection now shown in the Connection Center
- When prompted enter the username and password provided by your technician

iPhone, iPad, iPod, iOS
- Open the Apple App Store and search for Microsoft Remote Desktop, and install the Remote Desktop Mobile app.
- Open the RD Client app.
- Touch the plus sign at the upper right corner.
- Touch Desktop
- In the PC Name text field, enter the name provided by your technician.
- Choose your desired option in the User Account field.
- Touch Save at the upper right.
- Touch the new connection now shown in the Connection Center
- If prompted enter the username and password provided by your technician.

Android, Samsung, etc
- Search for Microsoft Remote Desktop in the Google Play store.
- Install the app
- Setup the same details discussed in the iOS section above.
